La Fontaine et le Corbeau

The Fountain and the Crow is an opera-fable created by Isabelle Aboulker and based on the Fables of Jean de la Fontaine. Featuring the scores for Voice and Piano only and the text for the actors, this piece is a show in whichthe music is initially played by a Flute, an Oboe, 2 Clarinets, a Bassoon, a Horn, a Piano, some percussion and a Cello. Two actors are necessary: the Crow and the show presenter. The fountain and the crow is a great work for achoir or a music school. Isabelle Aboulker is a French composer especially known for her opera and vocal works.
