Written for a professional Bassoonist for a recital, these miniatures are very atmospheric, extremely varied in style, and fun for both the bassoonist and the pianist to play. The first Suite of four pieces takes us to cafés in Paris, Madrid, Vienna, and Izmir- and the Bassoon’s first notes always spell CAFE! The second short Suite describes the glories of a Dawn in the countryside; multitasking in the Workday; cool and relaxed Twilight; ....and Fast & Furiously into the Night! For early advanced/advanced Grade 6-8 Bassoon.
