R'n'Funk Session

Funk Session is a volume that will help you to get ready to be involve in a collective performance. On the music of Lionel Melot, it was composed by Jacky Bourbasquet and Claude Gastaldin and features a CD to provide an audio backup.

It includes 25 pieces with the following genres: Funk, West Coast, Funk '80s, Slow Funk and R'N'Funk 5/4 and 7/4. It contains pieces for alllevels, from beginners to advanced players.

The CD includes each title, at different tempi according to each level, to get the players used to it. Funk Session is part of a series of books including the 'Studio Session 1 & 2', the 'Stage Session 1 & 2' and the 'R'N'B Session' among others.

The co-writers, Jacky Bourbasquet and Claude Gastaldin are professional Drummers and/or professors who believe in progressive methods to be able to gain in skills and technique.
