There once lived a man whose head was filled with music but the city was so noisy that he could barely hear the beautiful melodies. So he bought a house in the quiet countryside and invited other musicians to move in: the String family with the violin, viola, violoncello and double-bass, the Brass family, a gentleman with his piano, a lady with her harp, and the two sturdy guys with drum and timpani. Soon sounds droned and groaned, thundered and rumbled throughout the house.
The man was getting desperate. This was not what he had imagined. Find out if the musicians can resolve their conflict and become a real orchestra and if the man will eventually be able to hear his melodies again. 'Ein Haus voll Musik' is also suited for performances as part of a children's concert with narrator and orchestra.
