Strophen für Orgel und Tonband

The words of the Hungarian folk song and at the same time the motto of the piece: "Repülj, päva, repülj a värmegye häzära, a szegeny raboknak szabaduläsära" (engl.: Fly, peacock, fly on to the county head's house,to set free the poor prisoners). The stereo tape (please use the CD enclosed) runs straight through from the beginning to the end without stopping. It reaches its loudest volume (fff) at 0' 38" (track 2). As a rule, this sound level should not be changed any more during the piece, unless there are acoustic reasons for doing so.

The speakers should be able to produce a large volume of sound commensurate with the full organ so that a real dialogue can develop between the organ and the tape.

The notation of the tape is of course only symbolic, with no importance being attached to a precise description of each separate event. Time and track details are installed on the CD, making them easy to read for the player.

Very colourful and from time to time unusual registrations are desirable.
